There are rumors that the Facebook Fan Check app is a virus. It is said that by just becoming a fan, Facebook users could have their accounts infected by the Facebook Fan Check virus. But as of now there are no actual incident of this kind of virus infection that is documented. It is believed that some spammers and hackers are just fabricating this story so that people will look for possible solution to this "virus" so that they can be easily led to sites that contain malware.
