The Google logo "phenomenon" was driving people crazy on the web, because they couldn't quite get it, until you had this "twitter" from Google:

What was this code?
Start with the English alphabet where A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4... and convert the numbers in the code to letters and you have this:
"All your O are belong to us."
And what is Google's UFO taking?
An "O."
So maybe when you see this Google code, the original GOOG "tip" you'll understand the thought process behind it.
