My friends were complaining (9:23 AM PST) about the abnormalities, first, Friendster, a global social networking site famous to Filipinos and Asians. When you type their URL, it directs to a site named, FriendFinder.
Few minutes later we when I was trying to check my Facebook account, it was redirected to Facesbook.com. When I checked Myspace and Twitter, thinking that it must be a massive social networking sabotage or hacking of the big social networking sites.
The blackhat hackers seems to be doing really great! Please make sure not to save your passwords as these hackers may not just hacking the central system of these sites but also stealing our financial information while they're in control.
Here are the screenshots of Facebook and Friendster being hacked!Notice that the address are the same but the viewers are being redirected to Facesbook and FriendFinder. Today must be the attack of Social Networking Giants.
UPDATE: LOL..false alarm! Our head of IT told me that it the giant social networking sites weren't hacked at all. They were just testing something that's why. I looked up it was page hijacked or something but gosh, it was a mere testing we weren't awared of! LOL..
